Welcome to the upper room.
What is the upper room?
In scripture, the upper room is a place where Jesus and his 12 disciples shared their last meal together (Mark 14:15 Passover / Last Supper). The upper room is a place where the disciples gathered to pray. It is also where the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples in the book of Acts and they started speaking in the native tongues to all the people gathered from all over the region. (Acts 1 & 2)
Our desire is that the upper room fellowship is a place where you come in contact with the living God. A place where you commune with the ruler of the universe, the creator of all things. We pray it is a place where the Holy Spirit would transform lives and empower believers to go out and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We are a community that seeks to live like Jesus and to explore what that means in the 21st Century. We are an independent church rooted in the living scripture of the Bible.
We understand that everyone is at a different spot on their spiritual journey, and we would love to walk beside and join you on this journey. We are a church that seeks to be real and available. A church that not only studies the scripture but puts it into action.

We will be starting a study through the book of 2 Timothy on January 22nd. Doors at 6:30 for fellowship. Worship and study at 7 pm.

We will watch a short video and have authentic conversation about what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. You will be encouraged, stretched and challenged in your walk with Jesus Christ. We look forward to living out this series with you.

Mission Trip to Costa Rica
We are currently in the throws of organizing a mission trip to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica in April 2011. We will be teaming up with Concrete Jungle ministries and laying the foundation of a house for family in need among other things. If you are interested in going on this trip, talk to Lee on Sunday.

The trip to Costa Rica with the Concrete Jungle was fantastic. They are doing a great Kingdom work down there, hop on over to their facebook page and add them, keep them in prayer and support their work if the Lord moves you in that area.
