Lee Wagenblast is one of the pastors on the preaching team at the upper room.
Lee grew up in St. Louis, MO. After finishing school and seeking a fresh start at life, Lee moved to San Diego to lay down some roots.
At age of 21, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. The Lord then immediately started preparing him for ministry through much personal study, prayer and non-stop listening of K-WAVE.
After a few years of volunteer youth ministry, he was hired as a youth pastor at a local church where he served 6 years before God called him to start the upper room.
His vision for the upper room is to reach youth, young adults, and families in the South Bay area of San Diego with the love of Jesus Christ and the hope and expectation of lives being radically transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
He is passionate about worship and missions.
He spends his free time listening to music, learning graphic design, seeking out good indie films and hanging out with friends.
